This staged reading of the play combines an ensemble-based creation process – where four actors play over twelve characters – with a rich universe inspired by queer theory, Americana, and 1970s experimental film. The reading is in English.
"On an endless desert road resting on the back of a world serpent, a lone stranger – the Crow – walks toward a mysterious Party. They have no past but know the Duchess awaits at the road’s end. Along the way, they encounter the desert’s strange inhabitants: a man who wants to kill the earth and become a giant, a roadside devil who trades in souls, and a woman who rides a wagon…
