About us
The BCN Studio is a cultural association and an underground playground for performers, producers, and culture lovers who believe that life is better when shared and that creativity deserves reward.

Whether you're making something hilarious, moving, educational or wildly inventive, planning an event or game that brings people together, or just love culture and want to spend time with other creative souls in a place where everyone knows your name, this is your playground; we are your playmates.
Mission
Rooted in the richness of Barcelona’s multilingual, international reality, we're more than just a venue. We aim to promote feeling, thinking, laughter and generally living life fully by providing a home base for performers, producers and culture lovers, in the real world.

In formal terms we aim to:
-
Promote human connection, development and wellness through performance and interactive art
-
Create opportunities for culture lovers to find and be inspired and impacted by live performance and interaction
-
Promote performance artists' ability to produce live performance
-
Promote performance artists' ability to gain a living from their art
In informal terms, that means we want:
-
People who create live stuff to be able to do it affordably and with the best equipment, collaborators and space
-
People living in Barcelona to have a local, live alternative to being home alone on the sofa watching stuff online.
