Story Machine is a community storytelling open-mic with first-person stories, live music, and audience games.

Every month, people join us to share true stories that happened to them. Anyone can tell a story as long as it’s true, about them, and (more or less) related to the theme. We love having first-time storytellers on our stage, and we’re a friendly bunch.

In February, come share your love stories and celebrate love in all its forms. Don't be afraid to think outside the box: tell us about your platonic loves, your love for a place, a thing, a pet. Or tell us about the one who got away, the one you loved and lost, or lovers you've yet to meet. We want to hear it all.

Somos un evento multilingüe e inclusivo. Nos encanta tener historias en Castellano y en Català. ¡Si tienes una historia para contar, no dudes en apuntarte! Y si eres tímide y prefieres venir solamente a escuchar las historias de los demás, bienvenid@ también.

Why Story Machine?

The human brain is constantly creating stories. We weave narratives to make sense of who we are and what is happening in the world around us, to cope with the past, and to contemplate the future. We are each of us a STORY MACHINE.
