PsicoCine is an activity that combines a passion for film with psychological knowledge, creating a space for learning and reflection open to all audiences. Using selected film clips as a starting point, it explores key topics in psychology (human relationships, mental health, grief, identity, etc.) in an interactive and participatory format. The main goal is to enjoy cinema while learning to watch it from a new perspective, connecting the art of film with scientific knowledge and linking it to personal experience. Each session combines the screening of clips from a chosen film with psychological explanation and contextualisation of the main theme (through slides or infographics), and an open discussion with the audience to share experiences. The session also includes, with a touch of humour, a summary quote from Letterboxd — a meme-style one-liner.
