PsicoCine is a concept that combines a passion for film with psychological knowledge, creating a space for learning and reflection open to all audiences. Using selected film clips as a starting point, it explores key topics in psychology (human relationships, mental health, grief, identity, etc.) in an interactive and participatory format. Each session combines the screening of clips from a chosen film with psychological explanation and contextualisation of the main theme (through slides or infographics), and an open discussion with the audience to share experiences. The session also includes, with a touch of humour, a summary quote from Letterboxd — a meme-style one-liner.
The main goal is to enjoy cinema while learning to watch it from a new perspective, connecting the art of film with scientific knowledge and linking it…
