Bluff Lab is a playful, interdisciplinary session exploring bluffing — or pretending — as a creative tool.
Led by The Bluff Education Hour, the workshop brings together techniques from improvisation, automatic writing, and sound-play to help participants loosen habits, bypass overthinking, and discover new ways of making and responding.
Participants are guided through a series of prompts, exercises, and group experiments designed to invite risk, curiosity, and surprise. There is no pressure to be funny, polished, or “good.” The emphasis is on process, presence, and creative momentum.
Bluff Lab is open to all backgrounds and experience levels: writers, musicians, performers, marketers, artists, hobbyists, and anyone curious about creative practice are welcome.
Participants are also invited to take part in the monthly Bluff Lab Jam, a separate public event starting at 20:30, right after the Bluff Lab, which shares and remixes work developed in the lab.
Come to play, experiment, and see what happens when you stop trying to get it right.
