During the 1969 Stonewall riots, LGBTQ+ people literally set the streets of New York on fire, changing the way we see & advocate for ourselves forever. For this Pride Month Benefit, Dr. Nancy Goldstein deepens our appreciation and affection for this radical moment, its background, and its implications for the challenges, dangers, and joys the LGBTQI+ community faces today.
Hosted by the fabulous Iain Anderson (“Traumedy”). Featuring archival photos, plus consecutive translation into Castellano by Iris Permuy. Fifty percent of all proceeds from this talk benefit NGO Rainbow Railroad, which helps LGBTQI+ in danger all over the world escape to safety.
