The Untold Story of Pride & Prejudice
Meet Fanny Kingsfield, the spirited, bookish only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kingsfield. Living in the cottage beside Longbourn, she's spent years watching the Bennet sisters charm every eligible bachelor in Hertfordshire... and she's had quite enough.
When the impossibly handsome Mr. Darcy arrives, Fanny decides it's finally time to become the heroine of her own story. Armed with determination, dreadful love letters and a complete disregard for Regency etiquette, she's ready to rewrite Jane Austen's most beloved romance.
But winning the heart of Mr. Darcy won't be easy... in fact it's a real drag.
Packed with wit, romance and Regency chaos, Dear Mr. Darcy is Lady Red Velvet's hilarious new one-woman drag theatre comedy, following the success of God Save the Queen! A love letter to Jane Austen, it celebrates the outsiders, the dreamers and everyone who's ever wondered what happened to the characters history forgot.
Written, produced by and starring Lady Red Velvet
