In this original play, written and performed by members of the artistic collective Teatro del Sótano, a theatre company is preparing a production of ‘A Doll's House' by Henrik Ibsen. While rehearsing the last scene, the director notices a detail: the play does not end with Nora's legendary door slam but with the image of her husband, Torvald Helmer, who after a moment of defeat, looks up with a glimmer of hope, and repeats the phrase spoken earlier by his wife, 'the greatest of miracles’. Can an abyss be a bridge? What is the greatest of miracles?
This becomes the starting point for exploring how the feminine and the masculine have become distorted and how they can be reconciled.
