POETRY PAINTS THE RAINBOW: Poetry Pica Pica Brunch for Pride
Breaking bread and reading poetry aloud is a timeless way of sharing our souls.
This month we have chosen Pride as our theme. It will be a Pride Celebration of gender and sexuality throughout history.
Bring a poem that you love, (your own or written by a favourite author, contemporary or ancient) on the theme of Pride. Bring a pen, or your laptop, if you prefer, to respond to writing prompts. Sharing is optional.
Poetry read aloud is a sensorial art and is traditionally accompanied by beautiful food and drink. Please bring your best brunch dish to share. We will have coffee, tea, juice and mimosas for sale at the bar.
Pay what you wish, with a spirit of generosity.
Organized and facilitated by T. Cheung-Damonte, W. Hunter Roberts, and Jonathan Salway
